Cultural Notes:
Indian Pink (Spigelia marilandica) is a clump-forming perennial that does very well in gardens. It blooms from the bottom upward and the flowering season can be prolonged by removing the flowers as they fade. It likes part-shade to full-shade, medium-wet conditions; prefers moist, organically rich soils; good for shaded gardens, woodland gardens, and wildflower/native plant gardens.
