Shop the Fall Pop-Up Sale!

GNPS will be hosting a pop up plant sale at the Stone Mountain Propagation Project on October 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Our community-supported propagation team has produced a wonderful variety this year. Please come visit our site and to add more native plants to your own garden!

To secure a shopping reservation, register here and select a time slot. While this sale is open all, there are priority GNPS member-only shopping times in the morning!

We are in the middle of fall planting season and you still have time to get plants in the ground! Volunteers have grown thousands of plants at SMPP for use in habitat restoration, plant conservation and pollinator gardens. Click here for the availability list to preview what will be available.

Don’t have a specific project in mind? Let us help you with that with our pollinator packs! Packs include a mixture of native plants that bloom throughout the growing season and attract hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other important insect pollinators.

What’s Included?

A limited number of pollinator plant packs are available for full sun, part sun/shade and wet planting conditions. The number of plants varies by pack. An information sheet is included with each pack with planting tips, a suggested planting design and a bloom chart.

Full Sun Pollinator Pack $120

Plants included: Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae), Hyssop Leaf Boneset (Eupatorium hyssopifolium), Spotted Beebalm (Monarda punctata), Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa), Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia fulgida), Large Flower Tickseed (Coreopsis grandiflora), Cutleaf Coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata), Maryland Goldenaster (Chrysopsis mariana), Southern Beardtongue (Penstemon australis), Butterflyweed (Asclepias tuberosa), and Wild Blue Indigo (Baptisia australis).

Part Sun/Shade Pollinator Pack $50

Plants Included: Southern Beardtongue (Penstemon australis),Blue-stem Goldenrod (Solidago caesia), Cutleaf Coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata), Wild Red Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis), and Lyre Leaf Sage (Salvia lyrata).

Wet Site Pollinator Pack $65

Plants Included: Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis), Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata), Autumn Squeezeweed (Helenium autumnale), Graceful Goldenrod (Solidago grancillima), Scarlet Rosemallow (Hibiscus coccineus), Southern Blue Flag Iris (Iris virginica), and Joe Pye Weed (Eutrochium fistulosum).

Register to Claim a Shopping Time

Due to our special location inside Stone Mountain Park, this shopping opportunity comes with a couple instructions:

1. The number of shoppers allowed at a time is limited. To secure a shopping reservation, register here and select a time slot. While this sale is open all, there are priority member-only shopping times in the morning!

2. Please bring a credit or debit card; we will only be accepting card payments at these sales.

3. While Stone Mountain Park is a fee-based recreation area, you do not have to pay an admission fee. Please let the gate attendant know that you are visiting the Georgia Native Plant Society. Review the driving directions to help you locate SMPP within the Park.
