Promoting Native Plants

Sara and David Benson are enthusiastic native plant gardeners! They have a Silver Certification for their urban garden under two giant oaks. Starting with a few plants, the garden and their enthusiasm grew quickly. The Purple Coneflower and the Joe Pye Weed have reseeded and they continually add more plants. They are thrilled to see gold finches and the increased biodiversity in their yard. Thanks to the Bensons for promoting native plants in the city!
