Enjoy a short hike along the first section of the Silver Comet Trail at Heritage Park. The site features the state champion umbrella magnolia (Magnolia tripetala), as well as large beech trees (Fagus grandifolia), and tuliptrees (Liriodendron tulipifera) along with spring shrubs like maple leaf viburnum, spicebush, and azaleas and spring flowers such as mayapples (Podophyllum peltatum).
